Let your imagination run wild with flavors of your choice. Customize them with mexican spices, asian curries, or even hot and spicy! These little health nuggets are perfect salty, crunchy snack to replace any junk food.
Preheat oven to 375° F. Line large baking sheet with parchment paper. Parchment will make them crispier.
Carefully dry you green peas with a paper towel or clean dish towel, careful not mash them.
Place green peas on the baking sheet in a pile. Add coconut oil and garlic salt. Carefully combine until well coated.
Bake for 30 minutes. At the halfway point stir carefully. Return to oven and continue cooking.
Peas should be about half golden brown and slightly green. Just like the photo. Let them cool and enjoy.
You may not have any left to store. If you do put them in an airtight container on the counter for up to 48 hours...they will not last that long!
This is the basic recipe. You can customize the flavors with wasabi, Italian spices, curry, Mexican or Asian flavors. Don't be afraid to experiment.
They make great croutons on a salad!
