  • 1 tbs ghee or butter
  • 1 medium yellow onion, sliced thin
  • 1/2 lb cooked ground turkey sausage can use pork sausage
  • 1 cup fresh spinach
  • 1/4 cup soft cashew cheese with herbs I use Treeline Tree Nut Cheese
  • 1 cup sliced dried figs
  • 2 tsp fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°.  Line a baking sheet with parchment.  Place both Naan bread crust on the baking sheet.

  2. In a bowl mix garlic, rosemary and olive oil.  Use a brush to spread evenly on each crust.

  3. Bake for 5 minutes, until slightly crisp.  Remove from oven and set aside.

  4. In a skillet heat ghee over a medium heat.  Add onions to the skillet and cook for 5-7 minutes until soft and brown.

  5. Add precooked turkey sausage to the skillet to heat.  Then add spinach and stir until wilted.

  6. Spread cashew cheese evenly on each of the Naan crust.  Leave a 1-inch border around the edges for the pizza just like a pizza crust.

  7. Divide the onion and sausage mixture evenly on each crust over the cheese.

  8. Divide the dried figs and add them to the top.

  9. Bake for 5-7 minutes.  Remove and top with fresh parsley.  Let pizza sit for 2-3 minutes before cutting into four pieces.
