Quick Curry Spice Powder Recipe

I am a firm believer in controlling all the ingredients in my cooking.  That means that you won’t find too many prepackaged spice blends in my cabinets.  It also means that I can control my flavors better and customize them to my liking.  I make my own Italian spice blend, pumpkin pie spice and in this post I am going to show you my favorite curry spice powder.  It is so versatile and I reach for it often when I want to jazz up the flavor profile.

The Great News About Curry

Curry spice is so #anticancer! It is full of spices that fight back inflammation in the body, aid in digestion and naturally detox the body.  I use an entire tablespoon of turmeric in my blend.  It is what gives curry that bright yellow color. I love this article that Authority Nutrition published “10 Proven Healthy Benefits of Turmeric and Curcumin”.  You’ll enjoy reading how this curry spice powder can be part of an #anticancer #lifestyle!
